Meryl Binder
Hi! I’m Meryl, and I’ll be your coach through this 12-week hybrid program! As a nutrition and fitness coach and as someone who was a chronic dieter for a long time, I know what it’s like to feel stuck in a cycle of being on track and feeling good or being off track and feeling guilty, constantly be thinking about food and my body, feeling broken and like a failure because I could never be consistent and always went off the rails when I ate certain foods, and work out really hard but not really look like it.
It wasn’t until I learned how to eat with macronutrients and micronutrients in mind, look at food differently and without a diet mentality, and become aware of and start shifting my mindset and eating behaviors that changes happened. I finally started to feel confident, strong, and badass. I started feeling better than I had ever imagined on all levels and in every area of my life. AND my body began and has continued to change in ways that make me say, “damn girl, ok!”
What I realized is that nutrition is more complicated than it seems because of the psychological aspects involved. THAT was the missing piece. For the past few years, I’ve been working with clients 1:1 and in group settings, helping them break free from the cycles that hold them back and confidently make food choices that work for them, so they can look great, perform well, and feel better than ever.
